Account Manager

Overview

Responsible for identifying new opportunities, negotiation, and closing new business with existing account in order to meet and exceed established quota

As a member of the Sales and Marketing departments, the Account Manager will be responsible for selling Pure IP’s portfolio of services while simultaneously fostering and building relationships with current existing accounts to ensure customer retention. Additionally, the Account Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, negotiation, and closing new business with existing account in order to meet and exceed established quota. Additionally, the Account Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of actions to cross-sell and up-sell accounts in order to increase overall customer spend.

Responsibilities

  • Propose and negotiate solutions to secure new sales for existing customers
  • Develop knowledge of Pure IP’s platform, solutions, and the key selling points/differentiators
  • Enhance expertise in voice application technologies
  • Retain existing revenue from all assigned accounts
  • Work with the Support and Finance team to ensure end-to-end customer success/satisfaction in order to drive new revenue growth
  • Provide accurate and detailed monthly report of identified and proposed opportunities; create comprehensive account plans and tactics to win new business from existing accounts
  • Achieve assigned sales quota and goals for defined customers
  • Assist in the preparation of new sales quotes for telephone and web inquiries, when required
  • Maintain and update CRM with all correspondence/quotes/touch points/interactions with customers

Qualifications and Key Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Communication, or comparable)
  • Proven work experience as an experienced Account Manager
  • Knowledge and experience working in the US telecom market
  • Experience utilizing CRM system
  • Strong communicator and listener
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Passionate people person with an affinity for building relationships
  • Experienced and willing to “get hands dirty” helping customers
