Develop and own an integrated B2B digital marketing plan that increases awareness and drives lead generation from within the businesses defined target markets and audiences.

The Digital Marketing Manager role is a new function within the business aimed at helping us optimise existing marketing activities and develop new digital strategies to increase market awareness and drive targeted new business opportunities. As a ‘hands-on’ role, this position is aimed at supporting the business growth objectives through the implementation and continual development of an integrated digital marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Plan and execution of an integrated digital marketing program to support the business and marketing objectives. This might incorporate SEO/SEM, PPC, online advertising, account-based marketing campaigns, remarketing, email, and display advertising campaigns as deemed necessary.
  • Responsibility for maintaining and developing the company website
  • Optimisation of the corporate digital footprint through SEO, SEM, keywords, back-links and other tactics
  • Optimise and drive further insights from Google Analytics
  • Responsible for the management and optimisation of online advertising and PPC campaign elements (including Google Adwords)
  • Create and implement outbound digital targeted marketing campaigns to support the drive to generate new business leads, utilising strategies such as remarketing, email, online advertising & social media.
  • Manage and develop the campaign related activities within the company’s Marketing Automation tool (Hubspot). This includes (but not limited to) landing pages, campaign grouping, email marketing, nurture pathways, lead scoring, automated workflows, data management and optimisation.
  • Manage the marketing contacts database
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure data is accurate and constantly being enhanced.
  • Work closely with the content team to plan new content and optimise existing activities and material.
  • Support and enhance the outbound communication activities to key target audiences (e.g. Target prospects, existing customers, partners)
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Continuously monitor and analysis the various data sources, providing insights and trends info back into the team and business to support continual improvement actions
  • Be aware of the requirements for classification and handling of all information accessed or processed, as is defined within Pure IP’s Information Classification and Handling Policy. Paying close attention to customer confidential data received, processed and shared.
  • Adhere to industry regulations related to data protection and GDPR

Required Skills:

  • Commercial experience within a B2B environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, WordPress and paid social channels including Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising and remarketing campaigns
  • A creative with experience in targeting B2B audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics and CMS tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WordPress)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Experience of Marketing Automation tools and method important, with direct knowledge of Hubspot a real advantage
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints an advantage
  • Analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
